More about Kalinjot Pure EVOO
The Kalinjot olive is a rare, indigenous variety grown in the hills of southern Albania. Valued for its naturally high polyphenol content and peppery flavour, it is traditionally harvested early to preserve its freshness and intensity.
Kalinjot olives are grown naturally in the villages of Skrofotinë, Cerkovinë, and the Trevllazër hills that are perched above the Ionian Sea near the historic city of Vlorë. The salty sea breeze, stony soils, and traditional farming practices make this oil taste flavourful.
The olives are carefully selected by the Pobrati family, drawing on five generations of knowledge and experience.

Aluminium Bottle Opening
Our aluminium bottles have a screw top sealed with a tamper-proof sticker for safety and freshness. When the cap is removed, the opening is about 2.5 centimetres wide. This opening allows for easy pouring, making it perfect for cooking and dressing food. If you prefer to use a smaller amount of extra virgin olive oil, pouring it onto a teaspoon gives you precise control.
Glass Bottle Opening
Our glass bottles feature a fitted plastic pourer that gently restricts the flow of extra virgin olive oil, ensuring smooth and controlled pouring. The metal cap is securely fastened for safety, and you simply twist it to open for the first time. In some cases, the lid may not fully secure back into place after opening. Tapping it with your palm can help it reseat. If the lid does not close securely, keep the bottle upright and away from surfaces it may stain.
Keep your extra virgin olive oil in a cool, dark place away from heat and light, with the bottle upright and the lid closed securely. This helps maintain freshness and flavour for longer.
Extra virgin olive oil can mark absorbent surfaces such as fabric, natural wood, rugs, and porous stone. Please keep the bottle upright, wipe any drips, and avoid placing it on soft furnishings. Secure the lid after each use to prevent spills.
